[Poster Presentation] Watermark Extraction Method Using BSS

Abstract(in English) To improve the quality of stego-videos, we consider embedding method of watermarks in blocks where the differences between video frames are large. Since videos and watermarks are independent signal sources, they can be separated using the blind source separation (BSS) technique. In the previous watermarking method using BSS, the frames with and without embedded watermarks were placed alternately, so the presence of the watermark was easily noticed. Therefore, we propose a method that embeds watermarks in selected blocks with large differences between frames. From the signals separated by BSS, it is necessary to identify the video signal and the watermark. The signal containing the watermark is therefore estimated using correlation. Binary logo images are used as watermarks. The bit error rate (BER) of the estimated logo image and the PSNR of the video frame were evaluated with respect to the embedding strength $alpha$. By extracting and averaging multiple watermarks embedded in a video, when the embedding strength $alpha$ was 0.03, the averaged logo image could be extracted with BER less than 0.01 and PSNR of the video was 59 dB.
