| Abstract(in English) | For CDN-P2P which has functions of both CDN and P2P, the authors have proposed a method for connecting to a high-bandwidth peer by considering not only the number of hops to the peer but also the link bandwidth when a client selects a peer. However, in this method only high-performance peers are concentrated connections, and it may cause performance deterioration as the number of peer increases. This paper sets a selection probability for the peers selected as candidates and decreases the probability depending on the number of connections. If a peer is not selected, a new peer is proposed excluding the not-selected peer until a new peer is selected. The simulations show that the average video buffering completion time is almost the same as the previous method and the number of connections for any peer is five or less in the proposed method, but the number may be ten or more in the previous method in some conditions. |
