A Routing Protocol Using Probabilistic Route Selection Based on Residual Capacity Ratio of Batteries for Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract(in English) Corona-based wireless sensor networks form concentric clusters based on hop counts from the sink node. For the networks, our previous proposed method selects two candidate nodes within the communication range at the inner cluster and prevents the load concentration by choosing the node as the next hop that has more residual capacity of batteries in the two candidates. However, it also exists the oscillation where one node continues to have concentrate for a while and then the other continues to have concentrate. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a probabilistic route selection method based on residual capacity ratio of batteries. The simulation experiments show that the network life time is same as the previous method, but constrains the oscillation a little.
