| Abstract(in English) | Transient-induced fading is a phenomenon reported by Kanai & Kamitani (2003) in which a visual object is perceptually lost by a nearby flash stimulus. Although this phenomenon has been studied mainly with respect to perceptual fading, it is useful for the study of filling-in associated with perceptual disappearance. In this report, we observe filling-in associated with transient-induced fading and compare it with other filling-in phenomena. |
