| Abstract(in English) | In this study, we propose a method of pre-processing on a dataset and deep learning to perform fashion retrieval considering the "texture" of clothes. The texture of clothes has a significant impact on both comfort and appearance, and is an important factor when selecting clothes, along with patterns and shapes. However, it is difficult to recognise fine-grained and ambiguous features such as texture when conducting fashion search. Therefore, we proposed to train a model using images focusing on the surface of the fabric and text describing the texture in detail, and constructed a dataset with the necessary pre-processing for the experiment. Experimental results show an improvement in the accuracy of texture-aware fashion retrieval compared to the baseline. |
