Abstract(in English) In the 300 GHz band, which is being considered for use in Beyond 5G/6G, communication with high-gain antennas is a prerequisite to compensate for high propagation losses. On the other hand, communication with high-gain antennas is prone to get dislodged beam. The authors have investigated a solution to this problem by introducing a cosecant-squared beam to the intra-vertical directivity of the base station. In this report, real-world indoor and outdoor evaluations are carried out using a cosecant squared-beam reflector antenna. As a result, it is shown that the received power characteristics with little distance dependence can be obtained both indoors and outdoors.
