Abstract(in English) As communication traffic increases, demand for multifiber optical connectors is also increasing. Since transmission using high power light will become more essential in the future, it is necessary to clarify the effect of high power light on multifiber optical connectors. This paper reports the results of an investigation about surface temperature increase of connection point when 1W-class power is passed through multifiber optical connectors.
