Abstract(in English) Fan-in/Fan-out(FIFO)devices are indispensable when measuring the characteristics of optical connectors that connect multicore fiber. However, the return loss measurement of the optical connector is affected by the FIFO with multiple connection points, and it is difficult to measure the accurate value at the measurement point. This paper reports the results of a simplified measurement method to estimate the return loss by the OCWR method without using FIFO.
