Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A functional small antenna “MACKEY” basic type operates not only in free space but also on metal. The objective of this research is to miniaturize the antenna of RFID tags to the size of a card. However, conventional MACKEY has a problem that the substrate length L of the MACKEY must be λ/2 at the design frequency. Therefore, we propose 920 MHz band MACKEY II using slits in the radiating element of the MACKEY to reduce the size of the MACKEYII to the size of a card. In addition, since the operating principle differs between cases with four slits and those with eight or more slits, the operating principle will be discussed.
