Investigation of QZSS Operational Reports: Characteristics of Failure and Maintenance

Abstract(in English) The QZSS (Quasi-Zenith Satellite System) has been operating for 4 years since November 2018. The authors investigated NAQU messages which contains QZSS operational information to recognize availability and characteristics of failure and maintenance of ranging function and services as SLAS, CLAS, and DCR. As results, the availability of PNT service of QZS-1 and QZS-3 is at least 94% while other satellites and services operate for more than 99% of time. It becomes clear that all maintenance activities have been completed within scheduled time slot for last 4 years.
