Study of a single point power supply for circularly polarized MACKEY

Abstract(in English) MACKEY (Meta-surface inspired Antenna Chip developed by KIT EOE Laborator), a functional miniature antenna, was shown to work not only in free space but also on metal and to be robust against metal housings. MACKEY II with a thinner substrate and MACKEY II with an unbalanced system using an inverted L-shaped antenna as an antenna element have also been proposed. In this study, we propose a new MACKEY that radiates circularly polarized waves using unbalanced MACKEY II that radiates linearly polarized waves. We also propose a λ/2 square four grids single-point feed type antenna with a wider bandwidth axial ratio than the microstrip antenna.
