Abstract(in English) | In the 5G NR standard, a training method using demodulation reference signals (DM-RS) is adopted for channel estimation, but the frequent transmission of DM-RS may cause a decrease in spectral efficiency, especially in high-mobility scenarios. In this manuscript, we propose the concept of a data-carrying reference signal (DC-RS) that simultaneously estimates data symbols and channel coefficients, where symbols on the Grassmann manifold convey additional information and assist in channel estimation. We also use equivalence relations on the manifold to improve the accuracy of channel estimation and group the Grassmann constellation to reduce its detection complexity. |
