An application for aerial display of materials to support learning

Abstract(in English) Lectures at universities and technical colleges are generally held at desks in front of a lecturer standing on a podium in front of a blackboard. For example, when many paper materials are distributed, it is not uncommon for students to have trouble finding a place to put all the paper materials on their desks. However, it is not efficient for students to move paper materials around on a small desk as the lecture progresses. Some students have difficulty seeing the blackboard from a distance depending on their seating position in the lecture room, or cannot keep track of the board when it is erased in a short period of time due to the rapid progress of the lecture. This research is an effort to solve these problems using Mixed Reality (MR) technology. In this presentation, we present a system that organizes materials in a virtual space and incorporates information from the blackboard into the virtual space as needed, as well as the concept and implementation results of the application.
