Abstract(in English) | The demand for data centers, which are essential for modern society's dependence on cloud services, is increasing year by year. However, demands for reduction in power and budget have led to the need for efficient operation of facilities that house many network devices such as data centers and server rooms. Establishing a scheme to detect local temperature abnormalities in data centers is crucial to reduce power consumption through improved cooling air flow. The research group proposes a method for accurately measuring temperature distribution in space using an autonomous mobile robot system that moves around the floor to measure temperature. This presentation shows the consideration for actual operation in data center environment based on temperature measurement results obtained by equipping Vstone's MegaRoba F120 robot with a temperature sensor. |
