Readability of LED Displays with Flash Display

Abstract(in English) The Corona Disaster is a problem that impairs oral communication due to the wearing of masks in society. Efforts are being made to solve this problem by displaying text strings on a display based on speech recognition of speech information. However, the limited display area limits the number of characters that can be displayed, and sliding text is time-consuming for communication. Therefore, we adopted a flash display method that can display more textual information. In this presentation, we present experiments to optimize the display time of the flash display for efficient transmission of textual information, and an experimental system to evaluate the amount of text transmitted by the flash display.
