Abstract(in English) An interior monitoring system using a millimeter wave radar in 60GHz band is an effective method to detect human. This report shows the measurement results of human body’s RCS (Radar Cross Section) under a certain configuration of the monitoring system. The characteristics of RCS against to angles, clothes and poses are measured for three men and a woman. The measured RCS show -20 ~ -15dBsm under many conditions. As a result, the relationship between RCS and the angle, physique, clothes and so on were not confirmed.
