| Abstract(in English) | The rapid growth in the number of videos on the Internet offers great potential for users to find the content of interest to them. Numerous video sites and platforms are developed for the increasing demand of users. In this paper, we investigate the video recommendation system for VR SQUARE, an online video platform for VR distribution services with millions of user interaction activities daily. The system recommends personalized sets of videos to users based on their watch activity history in the service. We present some of the data statistics from the service and discuss the unique challenges that this system faces based on the data, and how we address and solve them. In addition, we provide details on the experimentation and evaluation framework used to test and tune the algorithms. We also present some of the findings about noisy user interactions from these experiments and the improvement of user interaction filtering. |
