| Abstract(in English) | As one of the trademark registration examinations, similarity to existing registered trademarks is examined. The examination criteria include conceptual similarity of trademarks. Similarity cannot be judged solely on the basis of similarity in appearance, as similarity may also be considered similar if the image and connotation that is evoked when the trademarks are seen are similar, even if the shape is different. In this paper, we examine image caption generation using trademark images as input, aiming to automatically generate natural text representing the content of trademark images that can be used as one of the input for ideational similarity trademark search. |
