Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We create a IEEE802.11 Ad Hoc Networks from points where LTE/5G signals are available in order to ensure high throughput communication in forests. Therefore, we propose an Ad Hoc Networks configuration method that take into account AP’s Mobility Restriction and the unique radio wave characteristics depend on the stand density. When the stand density is low , we consider that radio wave attenuation is small. Therefore, we use the NLOS-Shortest-Path because it is expected to have high RSSI of direct waves. On the other hand, when the stand density is high, we consider that the radio wave attenuation is large. Therefore, we use the LOS-Circumvent-Path that relays AP to avoid obstructions. We measured throughput in a forest in Japan to evaluate our proposal. The results showed that the NLOS-Shortest-Path was 36.2 Mbps faster when the stand density was low, but the LOS-Circumvent-Path was 3.1 Mbps faster when the stand density was high. In conclusion, we generally confirmed the validity of our proposal.
