Abstract(in English) | The purpose of this study was to understand how the use of the IV stand affects the getting on and off the elevator. The subjects are five healthy right-handed men in their twenties. Experiments of getting on and off a simulated elevator were conducted with the IV stand held by the dominant hand, non-dominant hand, and both hands, and without the IV stand. In addition, experiments were conducted in which the IV stand was intentionally pushed or lifted when passing through the threshold. Electromyographic (EMG) of the forearm muscles was measured with wireless EMG device and three-dimensional motion analysis was performed using Azure Kinect (Microsoft). As a result, it was confirmed that the active muscles and their strength differed depending on the grasping conditions. The increase in muscle activity when held by the non-dominant hand is thought to be due to the non-dominant hand stabilizing the IV stand. In addition, the forward tilt angle of the head and trunk increased when riding. It is considered to be due to checking the stopping position in the elevator. |
