[Short Paper] A Study on Signal Detection for M-ary Orthogonal Coded Chirp CDMA

Abstract(in English) Chirp spread spectrum (CSS) scheme has been attracting attention as one of promising modulation scheme in LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) communication in IoT applications. In this report, CSS communication system with M-ary orthogonal coding is considered for LPWA applications. A weighted bit sequence combining method is proposed for diversity reception in CDMA environment, which utilizes the characteristics of M-ary orthogonal coding. Simulation results show that the proposed method can achieve error rate performance comparable to those of conventional diversity combining methods.
