| Abstract(in English) | Today, many people suffer from stress disorders and dementia, and one of the treatments is music therapy. Music therapy is enhanced by one's favorite music, but it is difficult to search for it. We are considering the use of brain waves. Previous studies have revealed music preference EEG during negative mood change, but the effect on positive mood change has not been investigated. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of positive mood change on music preference and music preference EEG. Participants were induced to feel positive by a recall method, and then asked to listen to music and rate their likes and dislikes on a 6-point Likert scale. The results showed that negative emotions decreased and positive mood changes were observed before and after the mood induction. The low-frequency electroencephalogram (EEG) also changed during the induction, and the music preference EEG changed accordingly. There was no change in music preference after mood induction. The effect differed between music listening and preference judgments. These results suggest that positive mood change induces a change in the music preference EEG. |
