Abstract(in English) Digital coherent transmission technology is expected to expand its application to short-haul optical communication applications, such as data center communications. In this paper, we present the standardization trend of the next-generation technology related to Beyond 400G, which has a data rate higher than 400 Gb/s per wavelength. We also present optical device technologies supporting Beyond 400G, which are categorized into laser source module and transmitter/receiver module, based on our studies.
