| Abstract(in English) | A fissured tongue is a tongue in which the surface of the tongue (meaty part of the tongue) is split. This study aims to automatically diagnose fissured tongue by discriminating the tongue surface state using artificial intelligence technology based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. This paper proposes four image recognition networks, LeNet, ResNet50, ResNet101, and DenseNet169, and an automatic diagnostic method for fissured tongues using these ensembles. First, four networks and an ensemble are trained for fissured and non-fissured tongue images, and the fissured tongue image is automatically extracted. Next, for the extracted images, the degree of tongue fissured symptoms is automatically diagnosed using these networks and ensembles so that the condition of the fissured tongue is classified into mild and severe. From the experimental results, ensemble learning with the four networks is the most effective. |
