Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the utilization of the radio communication technology such as the service start of the fifth-generation mobile communication system (5G) and the development of the radio communication technology between vehicles and road vehicles in ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) is expanding more and more. At that time, the actual received signal quality varies complicatedly according to peripheral structures, landform, number of other vehicles in the periphery, distance from transmitting vehicles, etc. Therefore, there is a problem in the realization of the stable communication which contributes to the automatic operation system. Until now, it is general to evaluate the communication quality of 5G by the simulation by the ray trace method in addition to the evaluation by the measurement. However, since the ray tracing method is an approximate solution method, there was a limit in the obtained analysis accuracy in the condition with the complicated shape. Then, this time, using a supercomputer Fugaku, an exact radio wave propagation analysis by FDTD method simulation was carried out in a space around an intersection in an urban area as an analysis area and for roadside-to-vehicle communication by 5G (4.7 GHz), to verify its effectiveness.
