Investigation of shading method to suppress influence of external light in optical communication system using wavelength-shifted fiber

Abstract(in English) Wireless communication systems for tracked industrial vehicles used in factories and warehouses have drawbacks such as being vulnerable to electromagnetic noise and slow transmission speed. In order to overcome the shortcomings of this wireless system, we propose a new optical communication system that uses a light diffusion optical fiber for downlink communication and a wavelength shift fiber for uplink communication. In this paper, we have investigated a light shielding method that suppresses the influence of external light such as illumination on the wavelength-shifted fiber used for this uplink communication.
