Estimation of magnetic dipole positions using sparse modeling

Abstract(in English) In recent years, magnetic fields have attracted attention as applications for non-contact, non-destructive measurement of objects, and research has been conducted on signal source estimation techniques that use measured magnetic field data to analyze inverse problems of physical quantities of magnetic field sources. One of the applications of this technique is the position estimation of magnetic dipoles. In this study, we applied sparse modeling, which has low computational cost, to the estimation method for magnetic dipoles. However, sparse modeling is expected to have a problem with position estimation errors. This paper describes a method for reducing position estimation errors and simulation results showing the effectiveness of the method.
