Variable Notch-Frequency Digital Filters with Guaranteed Stability

Abstract(in English) Digital notch filters are useful for removing unwanted frequency components in digital signals. Such unwanted frequencies are called notch frequencies, and ideally, the magnitude responses of a notch filter at notch frequencies equal zero. This paper presents a methodology for ensuring the stability of a recursive filter having variable notch frequency. A design scheme is also presented for showing how to get a recursive filter having variable notch frequency.
