Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In cyber-physical systems (CPS) where humans and robots coexist, the safety and reliability of wireless communication are important. Moreover, when predicting the accuracy of network quality, the confidence of the prediction result is also necessary. Existing research on RSS map estimation requires knowledge of the exact position and transmission power of the access point, or measuring of signal strength at multiple locations is required. However, the prediction result may not accurate for positions that were not measured. In this paper, a method for constructing digital twin that representing the spatial distribution of wireless network quality is proposed. We constructed a graph structure of each point in the area as a node, and use a Markov random field to make probabilistic inferences of the Received Signal Strength (RSS) of all nodes from a partially observed node. The proposed method was evaluated with the manual measurements of indoor signal strength. Although the number of observation points is low, the prediction accuracy is maintained and the probabilistic distribution is archived. |
