Film profiles optimization for multilayer-type multispectral filter arrays

Abstract(in English) We investigated the film thickness optimization of a multilayer-type multispectral filter array for integrated multispectral sensors. Combining several meta-heuristic optimization techniques such as particle swarm optimization with FDTD method for transmission spectrum simulations, we searched for a film configuration which maximizes the variety and orthogonality of the signal patterns from the sensors. In the particle swarm optimization, the optimum value was specified after about 1000 to 2000 iterations of the transmittance simulation.
