| Abstract(in English) | The demand for optical fiber is expanding and increasing the capacity of communication networks. Effective utilization of existing conduits leads to deployment cost reduction and therefore realizing smaller diameter and higher density in the optical cable has been highly expected. In recent years, for North America and Europe, 6,912-fiber cable using 200μm fiber with an outer diameter of 30 mm has been reported. This paper introduces high density 6,912-fiber cable using 160μm fiber (80μm cladding) with an outer diameter of 27 mm and Data center solutions with components. |
