| 抄録(和) | フードロスの主な原因とされている「食べ残し」への対策として，食事による顔の変化に着目した．空腹時と満腹時の顔の違いはまだ明らかになっていないことから，本研究では，人が空腹時と満腹時の顔を判別可能かに関する実験的検証および現状の機械学習による判別精度，その際の画像特徴を調査した．さらに，空腹時から満腹時にかけての咬筋の動きの変化を，筋電センサを用いて調べた．結果として，人は空腹時と満腹時の顔を判別できることがわかった．また，ディープラーニングでは，画像の分類時に鼻，口の周り，目に着目していることが明らかとなった．一方で，咬筋の筋活動には，満腹感を得ていても，時間的な変化が表れないことがわかった． |
| 抄録(英) | As a countermeasure against “leftovers,” which are considered to be a major cause of food loss, we focused on the facial changes during eating. Because the difference between hungry and satiated faces has not yet been clearly identified, this study experimentally investigated whether humans can discriminate between hungry and satiated faces, the accuracy of discrimination using current machine learning methods, and the image features used in these discriminations. In addition, changes in the movement of the masseter muscles corresponding to the state of hunger to satiety were investigated using electromyography. Consequently, we observed that people could discriminate between hungry and satiated faces. Deep learning showed that people focused on the nose, mouth area, and eyes when classifying images. Furthermore, we observed that the muscle activity of the masseter muscles did not show temporal changes even after satiety. |
