Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In an era in which science and technology are advancing and non-professionals must be involved in a variety of fields and subjects, dialogue between professionals and non-professionals is becoming increasingly important. On the other hand, professionals and academic societies need to emphasize their connection with society, and they are increasingly expected to make contributions in society. This paper focused on dialogue between professionals and non-professionals, and presented how a code of ethics developed by academic societies, etc., can contribute to creating dialogue. Dialogue holds an important place in a variety of contexts, including education and academia. A prime example is science communication, where it is important for professionals and non-professionals to engage in dialogue in a bidirectional rather than unidirectional manner. |
