Deposition of PMDA-ODA Polyamic Acid by Drop Cast Method and I-V Measurement of triboelectric generation

Abstract(in English) Dielectric materials have been fully utilized in capacitors as a medium for storing polarization energy. But now, these materials are installed in triboelectric generators, and dielectric materials are freshly attracting much attentions as power sources. A concept of triboelectric series has been utilized to enhance positive and negative charge separation during a course of rubbing. However, based on dielectric physics, not only charge displacement but also dipole rotation is a candidate for current source. We have modeled electrical power transfer process for both charge displacement and dipole rotation, and proposed an equivalent circuit as a system converting mechanical energy to dipolar polarization energy. PMDA-ODA (pyromellitic dianhydride-4,4’-oxydianiline) polyamic acid has polar groups in main chain of polymer. Accordingly, rotation of permanent dipoles is expected to be an origin of current source for triboelectric generators. In this presentation, we show drop cast film preparation of PMDA-ODA polyamic acid. The triboelectric generator using PMDA-ODA polyamic acid is evaluated by I-V measurement, and equivalent circuit parameters (current source ???????? and internal conductance ????????) of the triboelectric generators are discussed.
