Abstract(in English) This report presents a real-time energy management system for buildings that uses solar power generation and thermal comfort prediction to reduce electricity costs and CO2 emissions. The proposed method formulates three optimization problems with different time scales and applies a model predictive control approach. Simulation experiments confirmed that the method can simultaneously maximize thermal comfort and minimize electricity costs. The method was also implemented and tested in a campus building, with successful results.
