Implementation of Intuitive 3-Dmensional Manipulation for 3DCG Objects Using Monocular Camera

Abstract(in English) With the spread of smartphones, various operations are now possible using touch panels. However, the touch panel is a two-dimensional device, and it is not a three-dimensional device. This, it is very difficult and cumbersome to perform three-dimensional operations. As a solution, a device such as Azure Kinect, which combines a camera and sensor, can be used to perform three-dimensional operations with the hand. However, it is difficult for ordinary people to prepare and use these devices. We developed an algorithm for 3D manipulation of 3DCG based on the 3D shape of the user's hand using a camera, which is a standard feature of smartphones. We thought that it would be possible to realize intuitive 3D manipulation of 3DCG by extracting the 3D shape of the user's hand and developing an algorithm for 3D manipulation of 3DCG based on this shape. The purpose of this research is to develop an intuitive 3D manipulation algorithm for 3DCG objects using only a monocular cameraand further implement the algorithm.
