What do Undergraduate Students Apprehend when They Observe a Class ?

Abstract(in English) The purpose of this study is to report on the practice of observation in moral education lessons as co-curricular activities that encourage undergraduate students’ self-direction. In addition, the purpose of this study is also to explore what they apprehend when observe lessons. To accomplish two purposes, firstly, the necessity of focusing on moral education lessons in elementary school observations, class observations in relation to the content of in-class learning taken by undergraduate students, and the process of lesson observations were reported. Secondary, after observing moral education lessons, they were asked to reflect on what and how they apprehended the lesson observations based on the records, and the visualized results were reported. The results of this study suggested that undergraduate students have the potential to take self-direction based on the content of in-class learning, and to set their next goals based on the results visualized through reflection.
