Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, color removal methods considering differences of colors in an input color image have been investigated. Many methods quantify the differences of colors in an input color image and reflect them in output gray levels. However, depending on the combination of the values, it may be difficult to reflect them in the gray levels well. In this report, we discuss a method to obtain better monochrome images by sequentially updating the values to be reflected in the gray levels.
