Abstract(in English) VNAs based on the six-port method (SPC-VNA) is one of the homodyne systems that has a simple structure and is expected to have a lower cost than the heterodyne type. However, it has not been put to practical use due to problems in ensuring the measurement frequency band and measurement accuracy. We conduct research on improving the performance of SPC-VNA in 28-GHz-and. This band will be further used in the future because of the spread of 5G and local 5G in Japan. We have worked on prototypes of a reference signal generator and directional couplers in 28-GHz-band. The SPC-VNA is reduced their cost by a developed new phase correlator for 28-GHz-band. We developed a 28-GHz-band SPC-VNA by combining these components and evaluated its characteristics.
