| Abstract(in English) | In recent years, a research on the production method of audio descriptions (ADs) to help people with visual impairment in enjoying movies has reported that the production costs can be reduced by involving novice audio describers in the production process. However, the difference in quality between audio descriptions produced by professional and novice audio describers has not been discussed. In this study, we analyzed movies with AD produced using the AD production software which we developed, and evaluated the qualitative and quantitative discrepancies between ADs of professional and novice describers, and those of high and low quality ADs. |
