Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is said that vision accounts for 80% of human input information. Even in the cooking process, we use a lot of visual information. However, blind people carry out the cooking process without 80% of human input information. Therefore, for blind people, there are various dangers and errors are hidden, and it is not easy to complete the cooking smoothly. When visually impaired carry out a series of cooking processes, we provide comprehensive support for each process, including the shopping stage, the cooking stage using cooking utensils, the ingredient management stage, and cleanup stage. We aim to build such a cooking support system. In this paper, as a basic study for the construction of cooking support system, we examined how visually impaired can interact with each stage of shopping, cooking with cooking utensils, managing ingredients, and cleaning up. We conducted an interview survey to find problems they have. As a result of the survey, we found that the importance of the problems that the visually impaired faces are greatly differed depending on the living environment, such as how to use a helper and whether or not the partner who lives with them has a disability.
