Abstract(in English) | As EV battery voltages are increasing from 400 V to 600?800 V, an on-board boost converter with 1.5X step-up conversion ratio is required to utilize existing 500 V chargers. In addition, since EV batteries are expected to continue to increase their voltage further in the future, the development of changeable step-up ratio converters is desirable from the viewpoint of reducing development costs. This paper proposes a resonant converter with changeable step-up ratio. Proposed converter can achieve 1.5, 2, and 3 X step-up ratio in a single circuit by series-parallel reconfiguration of flying capacitors. Fundamental characteristics were obtained through experimental verification using a 1 kW prototype. |
