Abstract(in English) | In uplink screen camera communication (SCC) using backlight modulation of a small liquid crystal display (LCD) and a rolling shutter camera, effectiveness of inverted 4 pulse position modulation (I-4PPM) that overlays a standard image on a small LCD has been verified by experiments. In this study, to clarify the principle of the effectiveness of I-PPM in uplink SCC, relationship between the ratio of the exposure time of the rolling shutter camera to a slot length of the backlight I-PPM modulation and the overlaid standard image, and differences in symbol error rate between modulation schemes I-2PPM, I-4PPM, and I-8PPM are verified by simulation and experiments. |
