Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With the spread of social networking services, the problem of fake news is becoming more serious. As a countermeasure, it seems effective to disseminate corrective information. However, in reality, it has been reported that the situation worsens due to the increasing attention to fake news by transmitting the corrective information, ironically. In the past, we have studied the interaction between fake news and corrective information and showed the mechanism of generating user clusters affected by fake news even under a highly symmetric network structure. However, since actual networks have heterogeneous structures, it is important to understand the fake news dynamics in such situations. In this paper, we examine the interaction between fake news and corrective information in a more realistic situation, in a network with heterogeneous nodal degrees, and clarify the way to prevent the deterioration of the influence of fake news.
