Abstract(in English) We review topics related to optical fibers reported at ECOC2022. Research trends continue for transmission capacity increase regarding increase of core or mode density and extension of transmission band. Regarding the increase of core or mode density using fibers with standard cladding diameter, there were reports on transmissions using 4-core fibers and on high mode number multimode fibers. Regarding band extension, number of reports were increased on amplifying O band and S band by using amplifiers such as bismuth doped fiber amplifiers and Raman amplifications.
