Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Lightweight and stretchable conductive fibers are fabricated by combining nanocarbon materials with stretchable materials. In this study, carbon nanotubes(CNTs) and graphene nanoplatelets(GNPs) were used as lightweight nanocarbon materials and fluororubber as a stretchable material and we fabricated the fibers by wet spinning method. Although the electrical properties of CNT fibers were superior to those of GNP fibers, the electrical properties of CNT/GNP fibers combined CNT with GNP were improved when compared to those of CNT fibers. This result showed that adding GNP to CNT can enhance the electrical properties of CNT/GNP fibers.
