| 抄録(和) | 「私の研究室には，お金持ちな学生がいます」という文は，何人がお金持ちかは明示していないが、研究室（i.e., グループ）に所属している学生全員(all)がお金持ち，あるいは学生数人だけ(some)がお金持ち，のいずれの解釈にもなりうる．本研究では，指示されている対象の属性(色やグルーピング)を操作し，「鞄を持っている人がいます」という文を用い，量を判断するような課題を行なった．グループ化の要因については、人物が着ているコスチュームにより示した。その結果，知覚的手がかりよる情報性は含意解釈にあまり寄与せず，同じグループ等，各グループが比較しやすいと判断できる場合に含意解釈を行う可能性があることが示唆された。 |
| 抄録(英) | The sentence "There are rich students in our laboratory" may not specify how many are rich, but can be interpreted either as all (ALL) or only a few (SOME) of the students belonging to the laboratory (i.e., group) are rich. In this study, we manipulated the attributes (color and grouping) of the objects and used the sentence "There are people who have bags" to ask the participants the task of judging quantity. A factor of grouping (groups) was manipulated by types of costumes. The results were that 1) informativeness due to perceptual cues may not contribute much to the interpretation of the implicature. 2) The participants tended to choose the card as some implicature when the card consisted of the groups of same costumes. The study suggested that when each group can be judged to be easily comparable, the interpretations were guided by Grice’s maxims. |
