Abstract(in English) | The goal of this research is to establish a signal transmission method for implementing a wearable tactile suit with many distributed vibrotactile actuators. The vibrotactile signals are transferred via a conductive textile transmission line, instead of individual wiring to the many actuators. The authors have previously reported that arbitrary driving waveforms for more than 100 actuators can be simultaneously transferred on a single transmission line without interference by frequency modulation. This paper presents an example of software-defined radio implementation of a transmitter that performs simultaneous modulation of multiple carrier waves. |
