[Technology Exhibit] Consideration of conversion tables in the implementation of PLIM for 429MHz LoRa/FSK

Abstract(in English) LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) is a communication method for the IoT that enables long-distance communication with low power consumption. However, there is a problem of data loss due to packet collision when transmitting simultaneously and on the same frequency channel. The authors have implemented PLIM on a 429 MHz LoRa/FSK. We have improved the collision rate by randomly creating and assigning mappings. In this paper, the authors conducted an actual device experiment using an optimal mapping design method that uses mathematical optimization to improve the correspondence table between the index and the information to be sent, showed its effectiveness and significance to other methods, and evaluated it in an actual device environment.
