Abstract(in English) The authors are developing an extension of ISO/IEC 18000-63, an international RFID standard protocol, to realize synchronous streaming using multiple subcarrier channels. In this system, an RF tag uses a DCRO (Digital Controlled Ring Oscillator) to generate the subcarrier frequency of the subcarrier channel to be used. When assigning subcarrier channels to RF tags, the frequency fluctuates depending on the operating voltage of the DCRO and other factors, so it was not possible to control the set value once and recursive control was required. In this manuscript, we report the results of an experimental study on the characteristics of the RSSI of backscatter of RF tags measured in advance to estimate the DCRO frequency fluctuation and thereby shorten the channel assignment time.
